Sex and Science Fiction Writing in East Village

Sun Sep 27, 2009, 3:50 PM
  • Mood: Exhilarated
  • Listening to: Momus, Venetian Snares, Sole, Infected Mushroom
  • Reading: The Motion of Light in Water by Samuel R. Delany
  • Watching: Earth: Final Conflict and Millenium
  • Playing: Baldur's Gate II, Fallout series
  • Eating: Air and Fire
  • Drinking: Water and Earth
(Does that journal title make your mind go pop? It's the sub-title of the book The Motion of Light and Water by Samuel R. Delany which did not fit in the what I'm reading section but I felt it needed to be said, hehe. And it didn't really fit in the title heading either, it should be "The Motion of Light in Water: Sex and Science Fiction Writing in the East Village." And so, to that token, I shout from the rooftops with whooping ape-like furor in this forum nobody ever sees, Please please please, anyone who sees this, take the time to look into Samuel R. Delany. He will honestly change your life. I leave the myriad opinions you will encounter to be left up to you :D).

But I digress...

It seems as though we have some stuff in common. Such as George R. R. Martin being my favorite fantasy writer and Baldur's Gate 2 being the best game ever! Hah. Also a fellow guitar player I see. Rock on.

Life is something that happens when you can't get to sleep.
:iconfallingrocks:
I am going to sing you a song.
Are you ready?
Okay. Here we go.

You are my sunshine.
My only sunshine.
You make me happy,
When skies are gray.
You'll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
So please don't take my sunshine awayyyy.

The end.
